- You must file taxes at the end of the year

The open enrollment period generally occurs between November 1st and January 15th each year.
Certain individuals may qualify to enroll outside of this period if they experience certain circumstances within the last 60 days such as having a child, getting married, or moving to the United States.
If you make under 150% of the federal poverty line or own a small business, you may also be eligible for a special enrollment period.
